We are a Residential /Assisted living community that will provide you with the opportunity to work in a family-like environment and grow as you enrich the lives of our Seniors. We are currently in need of part-time Certified Medication Aides( CMAS). Full time could be a possibility- At Senior Suites of Urbandale, WHERE YOUR STORY MATTERS. We are in need of evening ( 2p-10:30p) and overnight ( 10p- 6:30a). A part time day CMA position is available as well.

Your day-to-day:

Ensure residents receive medications/treatments as prescribed by their physician and follow the 6 rights of medication administration.
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Effectively interact with residents with dementia.
Participate in resident activities.
Lead your shift with the leadership and direction of the RN, DON.
Incorporate opportunities to create small, but memorable, experiences for residents.

Requirements:

Medication Aide (CMA) - MUST HAVE MEDICATION AIDE CERTIFICATE.
CPR and First Aid certification. If uncertified, may obtain certification upon hire.
High School diploma/GED or one-year related experience.
